World Beer Festival Returns to the Bull City

One of the nationʼs premiere beer festivals returns for itʼs 18th year on October 5, 2013, to beautiful downtown Durham, at the Durham Athletic Park.

The World Beer Festival, produced by All About Beer Magazine fosters its mission to expand the beer community by providing an essential experience for a life enriched by beer. The World Beer Festival is a craft beer tasting event like no other. Unique from other beer festivals, the World Beer Festival focuses considerably on an education component. Festival attendees will partake in a one-of-a-kind beer adventure in the “Art of Beer Village,” an area dedicated to beer education through food and beer pairings, ingredient samplings and educational seminars.

During the course of either a 4-hour afternoon or 4-hour evening session, guests can enjoy sampling unlimited 2oz pours from over 100 breweries, local, national and international. This truly unique tasting event brings together the brewers and the beer that have shaped the craft beer culture to what it is today. See
why forbes.com, USA Today and Wired Magazine claim World Beer Festival as one of the premier beer events in the country!

Tickets are on sale now at online. General admission tickets are available for $45 and include a tasting glass for unlimited 2oz pours from over 200 beers. Tickets are selling faster than ever before, so patrons are encouraged to get theirs early!
