Musical Saturday at Northgate Mall April 20

Music is an increasingly important component of Durham, NC's brand and identity.  So much so that people can now shop and listen to the melodies of local piano students in Durham.

Northgate Mall presents a full day of free musical performances featuring Triangle-area piano students, as part of its bi-annual fundraiser PLAYATHON on behalf of the Durham Music Teachers Association, Saturday April 20, 2013 from 10am-5pm at Northgate Mall’s Macy’s Court.  The event is Free and open to the public.

Visitors to the mall can relax and enjoy student performances scheduled every half hour. Donations are graciously accepted to support need-based scholarships for deserving area students interested in pursuing a musical instrument.
