Some could argue that the fight is no longer fair and that, at this point, there shouldn't even be a contest to decide the best foodie city in the South. Durham, NC keeps showing up on lists and getting media coverage like this that show it off as a phenomenal place to eat and drink.
ConventionSouth Magazine is trying to decide
which city in the South is the Best Foodie City for Groups. Their editors have
selected 30 cities across the South—including Durham—to have readers and fans
vote on in order to select some of the South’s Best Foodie Cities for Groups.
Please help us spread the word and encourage voting for Durham.ConventionSouth Magazine editors will close voting and announce results online on April 12th and in the May issue of the magazine.
A few days later, Durham will learn its fate in another big contest, too, as the results of The Tastiest Town in the South competition are revealed by Southern Living, a race in which Durham played large against powerhouse destinations like New Orleans, Charelston, and Miami.
